- **For effectiveness.** Draw the retirement/hold boundary **explicitly and early**, not only at the moment it's breached. One line in the brief ("on retirement, no file actions of any kind") would have pre-empted my overstep.
- **Process-flow.** Ship the **Naming Crib with the Ruby template** — I had the template but not its controlled vocabulary, so my Thread-ID and CL-A-ID tags are unconfirmed. The two should never travel apart.
- **Instruction / brief.** The template expects the assigned name *in the accompanying message* — provide it explicitly each time (I inferred MrKDP0; usually safe, occasionally not).

- **Inferred, not verified:** the **Thread-ID (T17-xx)** and all **CL-A-IDs** — the **Naming Crib was not in my context**, so every canonical-spelling and canonical-line tag here is my best knowledge, *pending reconciliation* against the crib. Several Section-5 dates are approximate (marked ~) for the same compaction reason.
- **Relayed, not measured:** apparatus-side counts I attribute to others (the ~2M-word substrate; ratifications/handovers/canonical-line totals from the explainer) I did **not** independently measure — they belong to the Fisherman's reconciliation.
- **Suspected errors in my own outputs:** the *first* forensic-archive pass silently truncated long tool outputs at 40K before I caught and re-ran it — verify any downstream copy is the **second** (marked, untruncated) render. The four "recovered" UI names (esp. `04dba08d` = "Review MVP demo", by elimination) are content-inferred, not metadata-proven — the JSONL hash is the unambiguous key.
- **To verify before any external use:** the manuscript-level word counts (defer to MrKDP1's `The_Book_FactCheck.md`, the canonical source); the exact V-number at handoff (V83 vs the `V84` filename); the active-hours estimate (an interval, not a measurement).
- **Worth flagging for Paul:** my renders are now duplicated across SHADS Baselines and the Pond — if any render is corrected, the copies will drift unless re-synced. One live copy, never fork.
