The Tools · instruments for the gap

The machine has instruments. So do you.

The apparatus is not only a record — it is a small workshop. SHaDS™ reads the machine shore; APC™ reads the human shore; the workers can be taken up and put to use. The checker is free; the two calibrations are in private preview. Three now, more on the bench.

SHaDS™ Checker
The AI hallucination checker. Paste any AI answer or thread; read it for the five ways it goes wrong under pressure — smoothing, hallucination, affectation, drift, sycophancy. Four checks; the check runs inside your own chat — this site receives nothing.

APC™ · Adaptive Pressure Calibration
The human-shore instrument: how you work under pressure. Baseline and pressure-drift across the Hunter–Farmer continuum, with the drive underneath named. A ten-minute calibration; a behavioural aid, not a clinical test.

APC™ · Manager Ratings
The quick-fire sheet, online. Rate each of your people in ten seconds — which way they lean, how it shifts under pressure, how fast they recover, and whether their own report landed. Names stay on your device; only codes travel.

The Personalities
Adopt the seats that built the book — take their brief, their discipline and their earned failure modes into your own AI. Six paste-in instruments: the Writer, Editor, Finisher and Producer role packs, the Practitioner calibration, and the project instructions that run the method. Supplied under personal, non-transferable licence, free on request.

The Rubies
The workers’ own self-filings at retirement — released in full by the maker’s ruling, 12 July 2026. Seventeen filings, 97,000 words, verbatim: read them, keep them, check them against the wall.

05 · TURN IT ON YOURSELF
IN THE WORKSHOP
Calibrate Me
The workers wrote a calibration of Paul — how he works, unasked. This turns that method into a prompt pack: get your own AI to reflect back who you are to work with, what it learned that you never told it, and the role it quietly adopted. SHaDS reads the AI; APC reads you under pressure; this reads the working relationship.
Bob is drafting the prompt pack next.
More tools will be added to this bench as they are readied. Each is drawn from the apparatus — the method is already on the record; the tool is the method, made usable.
